Noah’s Ark

By Ben LaCorte, Creation Tours

What do you see when you think of Noah’s Ark?

That cute cuddly toy with a matching pair of Giraffes squeezed in between the Pandas and the Hippos?  The real Ark was a little different.  It was an ocean going vessel about half as long as the Titanic.  It had three decks that if you spread them out would cover two football fields.  Cargo space?  As much as four – very long freight trains.  That’s enough room for all the kinds of birds and land animals that existed.  Remember, there weren’t all the species we have today, so they didn’t need room for Yorkshire Terriers.

Ever get asked how all those animals knew to make their way to the Ark?  Well, how do all those Canada Geese know to make their way to North Carolina, flying in formation no less.

You see, the Creator of nature was at work then just as He is today.   God was the master architect.  He worked out all the details.  Noah didn’t have to figure out where to put everyone. And when the rains came, it was God Himself who shut the door.

Our Lord said “”I am the door .  If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved”.  By faith, Noah entered through the door.  And by faith we’re saved by entering through the door that is Jesus Christ.

If your skeptic friends claim that Noah’s Ark was impossible, tell them they’re right.  Without God it was!  But then ask why are still trying to build their own.
